hoyland photos

welcome to the photo website of hoyland and surrounding districts.  this has been put together to showcase the interesting and best features of the hoyland area in south yorkshire, uk

the site is put together as follows:-

photo galleries

there are galleries for each area with the hoyland district and these can be looked at through the photo gallery menu itself HERE or via the individual named areas in the hoyland and beyond category HERE.  you can select to view the images as they are or individually or as a slide show or even in large format - the largest format on here is 800 x 800 pixels. but other sizes are available.  photos are as submitted by the named individuals - if no name is present, then they are my submissions.  please respect the copyrights of all the photographers.  You can also comment on the photos should you wish, by placing the comment underneath or via the forum.

your photos
I welcome your submissions for inclusion in the galleries - just send me a jpeg format file to photography@fastmail.co.uk .  if you onlu have prints and no scanner, get in touch as i can scan them for you for inclusion in the site.  i am always looking for any local shots including both new and old ones of the area.  the site will grow and evolve.

videos
there are now a few videos collected showing different aspects of barnsley and the local area - ineteresting images and commentary on the area - see HERE . if you know of any local videos, send me details to photography@fastmail.co.uk

forum
there is a community forum on this site which you can use for any discussion, photography or other local issues - and you can use to advertise free your unwanted items, and your wants.  please see HERE
